Our formal night: Thursday
You remember in times past, how we always do the assigned dinning. Eat dinner each night in the formal dinning room, eating like 5-6 courses with dinner lasting a minimum of 2 hours long? Well, this time, unbeknown to us, we had open dinning. We could eat at any time between 5:30 and 9:00 in the dinning room (if we made a reservation) or in the buffet. There were other restaurant choices, but these 2 are the typical main ones. Turns out, we actually liked not being tied to a scheduled dinning time. In the buffet, they serve exactly the same food choices as in the dinning room, you just can go at your own pace. We usually always ate in the buffet around 6:00, then attended the early show in the main stage after wards. After the show, we would go back for dessert.
We did do the formal dinning on the last formal night which was Thursday, hence the pictures. We were seated at a table with an awesome view of the ocean. The couple seated with us are Joe and Linda from Tennessee. Bobbie and Mark had met them earlier, found out they were Nazarene, so they invited them to join us for dinner. The traditional highlight for the last formal night is lobster and Baked Alaska. Is it all coming back to you yet? Mexico was better in comparison (is that even a word?). I need my bed.
Road Town, Tortola/ St. Thomas ??
I'm so confused... you know me, things just start looking the same to me after a while. I can't remember which port we were headed to. But I do remember, we all got to go to the very front of the ship, on this deck which is off limits.
Dad took a picture showing our ship (the big one) and another Holland America ship that came in to port when we were there. Our ship was huge.
I had to get a picture of dad by a Rotary sign. :)
Around the Ship
The next picture is obvious... it is one of the many decks on board. Because of the abundant sun exposure on that deck, it was the hang out for the smokers and sun bathers. Needless to say, we dad and I spent zero time there after we set sail.
The last picture is the most comfortable inside lounge chairs on the ship. On the 11th floor, in the very front of the ship, was the Exploration Lounge. It consisted of the library, coffee cafe (think Starbucks), computer lounge, and different little nooks for talking, playing games and doing puzzles. Anyhoo, the chairs dad and Mark are in were so comfy. After about the 2nd day though, they were discovered. :(
Our day at Half Moon Cay: Friday, Nov. 7th.
The next pic. is where we (Dad and I) planted it for the day. We rented what they called a "clam shell" so we could hide from the sun.
The last 2 are pics your dad took. You know dad... his hiney gets sore, lending him the opportunity to get up explore, hence the beautiful pics .

That's some of the latest!
Well, Ky, that was just a smattering in pictures of all that's been happening here. Updating these blogs takes quite a bit of time. I tried to down load a few other FCS pictures but it was not taking. I get the hint....I am going to get off this machine and spend some time with your Dad, he starts to feel neglected if I hole up in here for too long. Bye for now and I love you!
FCS Fall Festivis
Annie & Lacey dressed as Pebbles and BamBam for the fall festivis. I don't know how to spell that word. Madi wanted a picture for you without her cast on. She is so much fun. And Annie and Nick (he was Dopey...not really, he just put on the hat) pose for a picture. Oh, so cute....but on the down low. lol

Welcome to this years addition of the FCS jog-a-thon.
Faith is hosting 3 exchange students this year, and this is one of them. I don't remember his name though. He seems to be well liked.
Guess who... TaeTae. She is so funny. Obviously she didn't want Joey to take her picture. The elementary jog was yesterday. I will post a few of those pictures when I get them. Those little ones are such a joy to watch. Today I am suffering from being out in the wind yesterday. I have a sinus headache that won't go away.

Around the Faith Campus
Well...since I am becoming more comfortable with blogging, my brain is now in high gear, constantly thinking of all the ways through the net that I can make you feel as if you really are here in Yuba City. Last night I decided I would carry my camera around with me and take pictures through out the day, so that at night I can post them to my blog and write to you about my day as if we are just having a conversation. Hopefully you will enjoy it. I know, you will want too, I'm just saying that 'cuz I don't want it to make you sad...if it does you have to tell me, K? I love you.
Before the game started, I went in the gym to get Annie's picture, but she had to keep practicing. You know me, I'm not that quick at taking pictures. I only do posed pics, and then I don't do those very well. She couldn't pose. Bummer. I will get hers tomorrow. This morning when she walked through the hall and knocked on my window to say hello, she looked so adorable. I should have ran out and gotten her picture then.
I wanted to get over to the Yogurt shop before Joey got off work, but I didn't make it...next time.
Well I guess I'm not to smart...I have no idea why this font is bold and underlining. I was going to write more, but this is annoying. I guess this is my Que...I need to go out and spend some time with your Dad.
I love you and will talk to you tomorrow.

This was the best movie!
I know....I can't believe I just uploaded this image. Just yesterday, you were patiently talking me through all the steps to just upload my own photos and now look how far I've come...Pretty smart...huh? I was sitting out with dad watching FOX news listening to them talk about Obama and McCain, this economy etc. It is interesting for about 5 minutes, then I find myself getting frustrated. They pretty much just keep repeating themselves. Anyways, I got this idea and'woo la' I came in here and uploaded this image from Google. Oh, the purpose....
This is the movie we went and saw yesterday. It was so good. They should make more movies like this one. Someday you need to go see it. We had a nice time together. After the movie we ate at Mimi's restaurant and had a real nice visit. We are soooo blessed to have such special friends in our live.... friends I like to think of as chosen family.
